Contract Amount: $4,300,000.00
The project consisted of a two-story steel frame structure enclosed in concrete, masonry and aluminum framed curtain walls and glass. The building includes administrative offices, board room to seat 25, dance/multipurpose room, activity room, residential type kitchens, lounges and computer lab.
The project received Silver LEED certification which included geothermal heating and garden roofing system. The building also had multiple contracts awarded on plumbing, heating, ventilating and electrical which was the prime contractor’s responsibility to coordinate and supervise. The building has a contemporary design and was built on a small parcel of land which made it very difficult to build.
