Project Superintendents



Jerry Davis
Project Superintendent

Jerry is currently assigned to the Clifton Waste Water Treatment Plant, Kankakee, IL, a 3.7 million dollar project. He has been a member of Carpenters Local 189 for 25 years and lives in Quincy, IL. He has supervised numerous projects since joining LCI in 2002, many of which have been located a significant distance from home which requires Jerry to live out of a suitcase. We try not to separate families, but Jerry is divorced and doesn’t make living in Quincy a priority. This is a tremendous advantage for our company to venture into new territory.

Mark Stang
Project Superintendent

Mark attended Blackhawk Community College and was self-employed contractor doing residential and light commercial work from 1986 to 1997. He has been a journeyman carpenter since 1997 and has supervised construction projects for LCI for 7 years.

Jamie Carlson
Project Superintendent

Jamie is a journeyman carpenter and has supervised work for over 10 years. Jamie comes to us from Williams Brothers Construction where he supervised such projects as Davenport Parking Deck, Student Dining Hall at the U of I, and Muscatine WWTP.

Clint Sorrells
Project Superintendent

Clint is a resident of Fulton County and resides in Ipava, IL. He is a 1990 graduate of Spoon River College with an Associate's Degree in Agriculture. He has been a Journeyman Carpenter in Local 237 for 11 years and has been a Carpenter since 1994. He joined our team in 2014, coming to us with 20 years of experience in the industry. He has been a Superintenden since 1998 running varies projets including Macomb Public Transit Facility, Scott County Courthouse Elevator Addition, several Heartland Healthcare Nursing Home Additions and Renovations, Macomb taco Bell, United States Postal Service Renovations at several location, IDOT Renovations at several facilities, McDonough County Hospital Maternity Ward Renovation, several Public Housing Renovations, Pekin Combined Sewer Overflow, Pittsfield Wsatewater Treatment Plant New Headworks project, and Spoon River College Multi-Purpose Building.

Dave Elsie
Project Superintendent

Dave brings vast experience to our company in the construction industry. He bagan in 1999 as a union Journeryman Carpenter and became a Carpenter Forman working on may projects ranging from concrete to interior finish systems. he left the union for 9 years to own and operate his own solid surface coutertop business. Dave began to work at LCI in April of 2015./ He was promoted to Superintendent in 2016 and has run the Quincy High School Renovations project and the New Scripps Park Pool projecy in Rushville, Illinois. Dave is also running work at companies that we do maintenance work at which includes Blessing Hospital, ADM, and Dot Foods in Quincy, Illinois.

Tom Utley
Project Superintendent

Tom comes to our comapny after coming from Williams Brothers Construction. Tom has over thirty years of experience in the water and Wastewater Treatment field. He is currently running the Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements project in Fort Madison, Iowa

Josh Miller
Project Superintendent

Josh started in construction in 2003 as he joined the Springidfeld Ironworkers Local 46. He worked for several construction companies including Oshea Builders and Kiewitt. Josh started at LCI in August 2014, and has been working on several projects including the New Digester Lid in Belvidere, Illinois

Sam Clegg
Project Superintendent

Sam's educational background includes a Business Management degree from Western Illinois University. His construction work experience includes working in a family owned construction business for several years then joining the carpenters union in 2007 as a journeymen carpenter. In 2013 Sam joined our firm as a project superintendent and has ran several projects since that time.
